INShape internal internship 

My INShape experience will be one of the great experience  that I will forever remember. I looked forward to this Internship for quite some time because I was able to get the opportunity to put into place everything that I have learned throughout college. Before it going start I was confused and more nervous, but time by time I feel more comfortable with my client. I was able to work with my client for 9-weeks and to design a personal training workout program. I was blessed with a client that also love working out and want to try different exercises.  I learned so much throughout INShape such as: how to be flexible with changes, think quickly to adjust workouts, learned how to explain the specific exercise and why we were doing it, and improved time management with the 50 minutes we had while training.

CAMP BROSIUS

Summer 2021

Camp Brosius was a week long intensive leadership camp where I had an amazing experience, gained leadership skills and friendships that will last forever. This leadership camp really is what helped me to start stepping out of comfort zones and learn to embrace who I truly am. ​

Personal Leadership Style: 

Being able to communicate with others honestly, being empathetic, being respectful, using active listening, and mental agility are my strongest qualities to be successful at leading others. I enjoy being able to use teamwork to accomplish a common goal and give support to others to reach their goals.

KINE-P -403

5K running and group exercise 

My biggest experience from KINE-P_403 is 5K run with class mates. In this class we learn different running techniques which I never know if I was not paying attention on. I  had really good running experience but I always hurt my self in running. Now I know because I used different techniques of running (false techniques). Also guest speaker teach us the exercises and running techniques which makes over running quality improves. This class is all over good experience. This class give me motivation. I start my online fitness and cardio classes. I teaches cardio and rehab exercise over zoom to age 40-60 years old group.  This course give me new experience and better way to build my self career in exercise science field.

KINE-P-420

Wellness coaching 

​The KINE-P-420 course give me wellness coaching experience. Through out the spring 2022 semester i was not sure that I can actually perform the wellness couching role in my life. when I register for this course I was not sure whom I am going to give coaching. I choose my husband to go with. My husband is 26 year old, And he has really hard time to focusing on his physical activity with work. I am glad that my course experience actually work for us and we ended up with our regular gym routine. Also I help him to loose about 20lbs with my personal training program.
